GET YOUR COLOR ON

Your best accessory isn’t stashed in your jewelry box. It’s literally at your fingertips. Dress your nails in color for any and every occasion. You have endless shades you can wear…and no reasons to hold back. Since your color pick is a free-for-all, grab onto something new and let go when it feels old. No matter what shade you choose, you’ll always be giving your appearance the perfect polish.

HOW TO CHOOSE

Consider the benefit and finish you want when you’re shopping for polish. Nail color can offer fast-dry or long-wear benefits. Fast-dry formulas save you time on color application. Express Finish 50 Second Nail Color sets in about one minute for a very quick manicure. Long-wear nail color usually takes longer to dry…but it can last longer as well. Long-wearing formulas can also provide a built-in top coat for a shine that lasts for days without chipping.

HOW TO FIND MY SHADE

There are no rules to nail color…anyone can wear any shade. Your skin tone makes no difference, so you can’t go wrong with your color pick. Dark, natural, bright – go ahead try them all! Matching lipstick and nail enamel is no longer a must. Wear nail enamel to match your outfit, your sandals, your mood or nothing at all.

HOW TO USE

Your professional looking manicure is in easy reach. Just follow the steps below to apply polish like a pro. Use a base and top coat to get the most professional look and to maintain your manicure. Express Finish Base and Top Coat smoothes the nail surface, allows a more even and precise nail color application and helps prevent nail color chipping.

SHAPE AND PREP NAILS
Remove any old polish, then thoroughly wash your hands and underneath your nails. Cut and file your nails to your desired length and shape. File nails with smooth, long strokes from one edge to the center and then from the other edge back to the center. To determine the best shape for your nails, look to the natural shape of your nail bed.

  • If you have oval cuticles, round your tips

  • If you have flat cuticles, square your tips

  • If your nail bed is wide and slightly curved at the sides, shape your tips into a “squoval” shape, which is flat on the top and curved on the sides. This shape usually looks good on most people.

Gently push back your cuticles. Then buff your nails to create a smooth surface that will extend the wear of your polish. Use short, gentle strokes and buff in one direction only. Finally, give nails a swipe of nail polish remover to clean up any debris, creams or oils from the prep process.

APPLY BASE
Apply a clear base coat over your clean, dry nails to prevent discoloration and to prolong the life of your polish. Let nails dry before applying color.

ROLLING NAIL LACQUER
Roll the bottle between your palms. Do not shake polish before application; this whips bubbles into the formula, which can lead to chipping when dry. Instead,  gently roll it between the palms of your hands.

PAINT WITH PRECISION
Paint a line down the middle of the nail, leaving a little space at the base of the nail. Then fill out the nail by painting a band on each side of the center line. Allow polish to dry.

APPLY SECOND COAT
Add a second coat using the same technique. This will take your polish to its full color potential and will also help the first coat form a better bond to the nail. Let nails dry.

ADD TOP COAT
Seal your nails with shine and make your manicure last longer by applying a single layer of clear top coat. To keep your nails in perfect shape, wear rubber gloves for chores, don't use your nails as tools and never bite your nails or cuticles!
